If you receive an item that is broken or not as-advertised, it can be returned for a full refund. TackTackRoom can also issue a partial refund, as agreed upon between yourself and the seller. This is the recommended option, as it saves the buyer the hassle of returning the item. Merely contact TackTackRoom Support once a partial refund amount has been agreed upon.
Within 72 hours of receiving the item, click "Accept" or "Reject Item" on the order page, and explain your dispute. Once we've received your dispute, we can help you through the process.
What is covered under a dispute?
- Undisclosed damage
- Incorrect or missing item
- Item not as described
- Item is not authentic
What is NOT covered under a dispute?
- Item received as advertised
- Item does not fit
- No longer want the item
- Shipping time
If the item is as advertised and the buyer has determined that it’s simply not for them, then the seller is not obligated to accept a return, but has the option to do so. TackTackRoom recommends that the buyer list the item for sale in their tackroom. If the buyer liked the item enough to buy it, then it's likely that someone else will too.
After the item is delivered, you’ll have 3 days to open a dispute. After 3 days, the order becomes non-refundable.
If TackTackRoom deems that your dispute is legitimate, you will have two options:
- The buyer and seller may negotiate a discount. Please negotiate the discount from the chat page by simply shooting the other party a message. Once both parties have agreed to an amount, TackTackRoom can apply the discount to the buyer’s card. Please contact Support to execute this discount. This is the recommended option, as it saves the buyer the hassle of returning the item.
- If you are unable to come to a resolution, then the buyer may also ship the item back to the seller and receive a full refund. If you choose this option, please use the information from the original label to create a new label online or at the post office. Be sure to get a tracking number and keep the receipt. Please provide TackTackRoom Support with the receipt and the tracking number in text once you've sent the package. We'll issue a full refund when the item has been returned and we can also cover the cost of return shipping with TackTackRoom site credit.
