PLEASE NOTE - A trial period is available for customers to ensure that the saddle is an appropriate fit, only if the seller chooses "Accept return" when they list their saddle.

TackTack's trial terms are not negotiable. Buyers must follow the trial policy in order to be refunded. The purchase price of the saddle is refundable upon successful return, excluding a payment processing fee of 3% (or 6% if the Affirm payment plan was used).

For transactions via PayPal, no processing fee will be charged.

It is the responsibility of both the buyer and the seller to communicate and agree upon return details, such as shipping costs, return address, and the selected carrier."

The length of trial is five days.

The trial period starts when the buyer receives the saddle.

Trial periods may be extended in extenuating circumstances, it's an agreement between seller and buyer. It's important that TackTack is informed if you decide to extend the trial period for any reason

Signature/insurance is highly recommended for delivery. (The buyer must make sure to choose a shipping address where someone will be available to sign)If the carrier attempts delivery and no one is there to sign for the package, the trial will begin the following business day. It is the buyer's responsibility to pick up the package from the carrier access point or arrange for delivery after that point.*Saddles ordered internationally will not have a trial. All international sales are final.

Deadline for initiating saddle return shipping is the last day of the trial period. The buyer must communicate that they are returning the saddle within the time allowed for trial, otherwise the sale will be final.

The saddle needs to be returned in the same condition for a full refund of the saddle purchase price (less shipping cost if applicable and payment processing fee if applicable).

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:

Be sure to get in touch with your seller for the return address, and don't forget to share the tracking number with them as soon as you've shipped the item back.

The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the saddle unless the seller is willing to cover the cost.

Disclaimer: Responsibility for Shipping Damages, Loss, Signature, and Insurance

Please note that TackTack is not responsible for any saddles that may be lost or damaged during shipping as part of the Trial. The responsibility for shipping-related risks lies entirely with the parties participating in the transaction—the buyer and the seller.

Both parties are also responsible for choosing and enabling signature and insurance options for the shipped items. We strongly recommend making use of reputable shipping services that offer tracking, signature on delivery, and insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind throughout the trial period.

Should you decide to extend your trial period for any reason, please inform TackTack immediately for appropriate management. However, this does not alter our stance on the responsibility for lost or damaged items, signature, or insurance during shipping.

By participating in the Trial, you acknowledge and agree to these terms regarding shipping, signature, and insurance responsibilities.

**Refund Process:**

Funds remain in our account until the item is successfully returned to the seller. Once the seller confirms through the TackTack app that the item is received in the condition it was sent, a refund will be issued. This option is available only if a trial period was offered by the seller when listing their item.

If a trial period was not initially offered but the seller agrees to accept a return, the seller or buyer must contact us with confirmation that the item has been received (shipping information is required if it's the buyer contacting us).

We strive to offer the best protection for both buyers and sellers, making the process as straightforward and secure as possible.
